Richmond FC is beyond excited to welcome Scott Guy, international UEFA and FIFA coach educator, to Richmond for a series of RFC coaching clinics aimed at our professional and volunteer coaches.

Scott will be delivering coaching clinics for our Open Development and Advanced Development coaches, free of charge.

To suggest we’ll be working with one of the most qualified people around to help our youth coaches level up would be a giant understatement. Scott has been working professionally for the last 18 years in youth development with the Scottish Football Association and at the club level with Glasgow Rangers, and has a degree in sports development, along with a UEFA Youth and Children’s license and a UEFA coach instructor license.

Scott will be running a ‘Proactive Attacking’ clinic on Thursday September 16 at Boyd Red from 5.30pm to 6.30pm for all U7-U12 coaches, and another for U13 to U18 coaches from 7pm to 8pm. We highly recommend all coaches make time for these classes.

Scott will be running more generalized coaching clinics for young age groups at Boyd Red on September 17 at 5pm to 5.45pm for U4 to U6 coaches, and 6pm to7pm for U7 to U12s.

RFC has made a commitment to develop not just great young players, but great young coaches and officials, and this is part of our plan to grow our club, community, and the game in our city.

No booking is necessary, just show up and be ready to learn.
