Dear Richmond FC Players and Parents:

We hope that you are keeping healthy and safe during this time.

On March 17, 2020, the Government of British Columbia announced that it is declaring a state of emergency under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act. As a result, all facilities providing recreational programs were legally required to close. In addition, BC Soccer made the decision to immediately suspend all sanctioned soccer events and activities in the province until further notice. This includes delaying the start of all Spring Programs and BC Soccer has further advised that there will be no soccer in the month of April.

The 2020 Recreational Spring Soccer League and Friday Night 1st Touch Soccer Program have been cancelled and all families have received communication regarding full refunds.

For the safety of our players, coaches and community, we will not be registering any girls or boys U9-U17 Select teams for the Cascadia Spring League and the accompanying spring training has been cancelled until further notice. All families have received communication regarding full refunds or credit to future programming. We appreciate that many families may be facing financials challenges as a result of Covid-19 and have given families the choice for payments already made. All registered participants will receive communication on future spring/summer programming once we are able to get started.

Information will come out shortly regarding 2020/2021 Fall-Winter Registration for girls and boys.

Please know, Richmond FC is monitoring the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very closely. The health and safety of our players, families, volunteers and staff is of the utmost importance.

Richmond FC will continue to monitor communications coming from the appropriate health authorities, BC Soccer and our national governing body. In addition, we will make every effort to communicate regularly as developments occur and decisions are made.

Please continue to visit our website, and social media for the latest information.

We appreciate your patience and support during this difficult time.

Stay safe and stay well.
