At Richmond FC, we are constantly striving to provide better programs for our youth soccer players. As a club we also want to ensure the safety of our players and as such, we have been working together with UBC researcher Naznin Virji-Babul to provide concussion baseline testing for our players.
We wanted to share with you some articles from both CBC and the Province newspaper to help parents and youth better understand why concussion baseline testing and treatment is so important.
We would like to thank both Maryse Zeidler and Deborah Goble of CBC News, Sam Smith of The Metro and Tiffany Crawford of the Vancouver Sun (The Province article) for bringing awareness to such an important initiative for our youth.
