Richmond FC is excited for the return of the Mini-Kickers program! This program, for girls and boys, is a one day a week (Sundays) skill development program for players born in 2018, 2017, 2016. If you are looking for more team-based soccer (practice during the week and game on Saturdays) please look into the Club’s Open Development program found HERE.
Program provides a curriculum framework for children focusing on soccer skills tailored to include:
• Physical Literacy
• Basic motor skills
• Emotional, personal and social development
• Individual ball mastery
• Cognitive development
Young players will be exposed to the World’s #1 coaching skills method by qualified CSA and UEFA Coaching Instructors. Participation in this program will assist children in developing positive self-esteem and promote a healthy attitude towards physical activity as well as developing basic physical literacy and ball skills.
Ball mastery – Exercises where players work alone using the ball with high repetition of touches, including moves to change direction, running with the ball, and shooting.
Physical literacy – Fun games incorporating game specific movements Small sided games – 1v1 2v2 3v3 and 4v4 games … fun fun fun.

When: Sundays (September 12 to March 20 or September 12 to June 26)
$350 for 25 sessions
$500 for 36 sessions (season ticket is a better value)
(includes playing kit)
Players will need cleats (or good tread running shoes) and shin guards.
