The 2019 Recreational Spring Soccer League will start up the week of April 22. Please note that lots more information will be posted here and emailed out between now and April 21. We ask that you please hold off on emailing with questions.
All spring soccer league will take place at Boyd Soccer Complex (located at #1 Road and Francis Road).
As a reminder the Spring Soccer League is all games, there are no practices (please review the registration page). It is recreational game play or “let the kids play”. All registered players will be assigned to a team that is lead by a volunteer parent coach. Each session is full of games, laughter, and fun! Richmond FC will provide Staff Coaches to observe, assist and manage the League’s on-field operations, but they do not run the teams during games. Parent coaches will oversee the game environment and flow of the game (including substitutions) adding words of encouragement, advice, and instruction in a safe environment. Kids are given the chance to “just play”. Richmond FC provides referees for games for players 2010 to 2007.
Parent/Tot Program – Starts Sunday April 28 at Boyd Blue. Runs to June 23 (no session May 19).
All players require cleats, shinguards, soccer socks and shorts. Players will receive league t-shirt which is theirs to keep. This will be distributed to you by the team coach at the first session.
